"Purpureus Mendax" is a band formed in 2017 with influences from Synthwave, Coldwave, Darkwave, Synthpop.
Some of the influences of the band are: Sopor Aeternus and The Ensemble of Shadows, Bauhaus, The Cure, Joy Division, Nine Inch Nails, Paved In Skin, Wolfsheim, Depeche Mode, David Bowie, Einstürzende Neubauten, Goethes Erben, Devil Doll, etc.

Nox Exanime In this City

El pasado 13 de Abril de 2021 salió a la venta el nuevo sencillo "In this City" de la banda de Electro Darkwave, Nox Exanime. Para sorpresa de algunos el video oficial fue baneado el mismo día de su publicación por violar las normas de copyright al utilizar fragmentos de la icónica pelicula:  Fahrenheit 451 de 1966,   basada en la  novela homónima  de  Ray Bradbury ,  dirigida por  François Truffaut   y protagonizada por  Oskar Werner ,  Julie Christie  y  Cyril Cusack . Por lo que la banda anunció que crearían un Liric Video de la misma en sustitución a este video.
